ADHD Therapy for Adults

Most adults who come to me with ADHD weren't diagnosed as kids. Or they were, and the treatment stopped there. Nobody talked to them about what ADHD actually looks like in an adult brain, or what it costs to spend decades trying to function in systems that weren't built for how their mind works.

It costs a lot. It shows up as the job you're capable of but can't seem to hold onto. The relationships where your partner says you don't listen, even though you do, just not always in the way they expect. The to-do list that grows faster than you can clear it, the shame about the to-do list, and the paralysis that comes from that shame. The sense that you're working twice as hard as everyone else to produce half as much, and the exhaustion of not knowing why.

I understand this from the inside. I have a learning disability and a brain that runs what a lot of us call "twenty tabs open." That experience shapes how I work with ADHD clients, not from a clinical distance, but from a place of genuine recognition.

What ADHD Therapy Actually Looks Like

We're not going to spend our sessions making you more productive. That's not the goal. The goal is understanding how your brain actually works, stopping the fight against it, and building a life that fits you rather than a life you're constantly failing to fit into.

That might include making sense of patterns that have followed you for years. It might mean untangling ADHD from the anxiety and shame that built up around it. It often means looking at the relationships and systems in your life and figuring out what actually works for you versus what you've been told should work.
